Peter and the Wolf on Tour is an action-packed, interactive concert featuring a unique theatrical concert presentation of the much-loved music by Prokofiev, arranged for wind quintet.

Let by presenter and percussionist Owen Gunnell, our team of musical animals represents Peter and his four brave animal friends as they battle the sly wolf moving effortlessly from madcap musical mayhem to virtuosic performances. There will be plenty of audience participation along the way, and join the musicians afterwards to try out the instruments for yourself, and maybe even start your own musical adventure.

Fees are negotiable and CCC would be happy to discuss a co-promotion to reduce the fee level.

Children's Classic Concerts has a serious commitment to making music fun. Reaching more than 13,000 children and their families each year, our concerts range from symphony orchestra concerts to small chamber concerts and cover classical, orchestral, folk, and jazz music. We aim to create interactive, innovative, and inspirational experiences that can ignite a passion for culture in both the young and the old.

Our small ensemble performances are a great opportunity for young music fans to get up close and personal to their favourite instruments. The programmes have been carefully planned with music societies in mind and to encourage a whole new generation to get involved in music performances. Each performance has an accompanying pre-concert workshop or an opportunity to meet the musicians following the concert.

We chose ensembles to work with that are acclaimed, award-winning musicians, and our own Artistic Director and presenter is a highly regarded percussionist in his own right, who regularly performs with the major UK orchestras and is a member of the renowned Colin Currie Group.
