Biography
Formed in late 2021 and based in Edinburgh, From The Labyrinth is composed of the French violinist Fay Guiffo and the Scots-Irish pianist Chris Lyons. They are respectively graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Royal Academy of Music. Born from their common passion for classical music improvisation and cross-disciplinary art forms, From The Labyrinth pushes the boundaries of the ritualised experience of the concert hall. The duet explores the evocative power of movement and words, immersing their audience into a lively and poetic space.
