Biography

Josie and Nadanai first started performing together in Cambridge in 2008, where they were both undergraduates. Since then, the duo have performed regularly at venues throughout the UK, including in Cambridge, Oxford, London, and Birmingham. They have a wide-ranging repertoire, with a focus on classical and romantic violin and piano sonatas.

Josie graduated with a MMus as a scholar of the Royal College of Music in 2012, where she was supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust. As a member of the Arbellio Quartet she attended the Trondheim International Chamber Music Festival and Young Virtuosi Festival and won the RCM’s quartet prize. She has also performed regularly at the Mendelssohn on Mull chamber music festival, with the London Chamber Orchestra and also with the Birmingham Royal Ballet.

Nadanai studied at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he developed an extensive interest in chamber and vocal music. He has worked professionally with the Institut Stimmkunst (Zurich) and Opera Siam (Bangkok) as répétiteur and conductor, and has also appeared as a concerto soloist with the Siam Philharmonic Orchestra and Siam Sinfonietta. He performs regularly in the UK and abroad.
